Herman’s Blog
Welcome to my blog. For those of you who don’t know the Herman 101, I was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in southern Virginia. After high school I attended Virginia Tech for a short but sweet time. I then developed an interest to serve my country and decided to enter the Navy. I remained there for 11 years and although I am not sure I would do it again, I must say I did learn alot and experience and it was good for me. After completing my service, I moved to Maryland and started working at a biotech company (Human Genome Sciences).

I still work there because it is the best job I have ever had. I married a wonderful woman in 2007 who, even though struggles to remember our anniversary, makes me extremely happy. I think she loves me almost as much as I love her. We both own motorcycles, a shared hobby which I thoroughly enjoy. As you can see, I have started blogging, with the assistance of the afore mentioned lovely wife.
